How Mold Inspections
Are Done

Our comprehensive mold inspection process uses industry-standard equipment and professional laboratory analysis to accurately identify and assess mold issues in your property.

01

Visual Examination

Thorough visual inspection of the entire property to identify visible mold growth, water damage, and potential moisture sources.

02

Moisture Meter Readings

Advanced moisture meters detect hidden water intrusion in walls, ceilings, and floors that could lead to mold growth.

03

Thermal Imaging (Infrared)

Infrared cameras reveal temperature differences that indicate moisture problems not visible to the naked eye.

04

Air Sampling

Air samples collected from multiple locations to measure airborne mold spore concentrations throughout the property.

05

Surface / Swab Sampling

Direct surface samples taken from suspected mold growth areas for precise identification of mold species.

06

Independent Laboratory Testing

All samples sent to certified third-party laboratories for professional analysis and identification.

07

Mold Remediation Protocol

If elevated mold levels are found, we prepare a detailed remediation protocol for professional remediation specialists.

Important: Separation of Assessment and Remediation

Florida law requires that mold assessment and mold remediation be performed by separate, independent parties. This ensures unbiased testing and protects consumers.

As a licensed Mold Assessor, Dry Florida conducts the inspection and testing. If mold is found, we prepare a detailed remediation protocol that any licensed mold remediation contractor can follow.

While we hold both Mold Assessor and Mold Remediator licenses, we maintain this separation to ensure complete objectivity in our testing process.
